A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE AWAITS YOU

Imagine sitting in a casual taproom on East Burnside Street in Portland with a fruity, tart West Coast IPA in your hand. Then imagine you're dining in a typical Nordic-style restaurant in the Meat District in Copenhagen. You eat an al dente cooked pasta puttanesca; it is beautifully harmonious; colorful, salty, sour, fruity, a little lush and playful. For dessert, there is crème brulée with preserved blueberries. ‚Home is whenever I'm with you‘ can be heard subtly in the background. Your bag lies next to you on the soft bench. - That's you, in the Matt & Elly dining room! On one of the 100 seats in our Brewery & Kitchen and during the summer in the urban garden, you are our star. In typical Swiss style, we won't ask you for your autograph, but will welcome you with charm like everyone else.

Tuesday to Saturday from 18:30 you can enjoy Matt's 4-course and now also 5-course menu as a vegetarian or meat/fish option. Vegan on advance order (48h). Or choose your creations à la carte from the menus.

Whether you enjoy our outrageously creative fine-dining creations sitting down or feast on our seasonal tapas standing up; the choice is yours! Looking for something even more special? Mau Pavon offers you and your group a team event where everyone discovers their creative side! with or without beer (tasting). All offers can be booked individually or in combination.

Ambience cozy, spacious, modern, inviting. Home-brewed incredibly good beer, which we tasted, gastronomically top, manageable menu with great dishes, ordered food was a concert for the tongue, top cordial care. We will be back.

Wunderbare Bar, um interessante Biere aus der eigenen Hausbrauerei auszuprobieren. Die Auswahl reicht vom Sauerbier bis zum hochprozentigen und äusserst geschmackvollen Bockbier. Auch wird diese immer wieder mit neuen Kreationen der Braumeister aufgefrischt. A place for craft beer lovers and for those destined to enjoy great beers in a friendly atmosphere.

Best Beer in Town (and more)
Ich kann hier nicht alle Gründe aufzählen, warum man im Matt & Elly unbedingt einen Abend verbringen MUSS, daher nur deren drei:
1. Das Rock-Away Bier (gibt nichts besseres)
2. Die knusprige Ente (war Teil des Menu Surpise)
3. Die coole urbane Atmosphäre (an einer nicht ganz so bekannten Ecke Basels)
