STICKER & UPCYCLING WORKSHOPS 31 JANUARY 2025
As part of the finissage of their art exhibition, TAINA and ELFKunst are offering two different workshops for you to take your own art home with you.
WORKSHOP I: STREETART UPCYCLING
Friday, 31 January 2025, 6 – 7 pm
We create new street art from “all kinds of junk” and breathe new life into it. Many “useless” things, e.g. in your own four walls, gather dust because they just lie around, you forget about them, they have little or no value. In our upcycling campaign, however, new life is breathed into them and they gain value and attention in a new constellation, possibly on the street. Families with children are welcome. Friday, January 31, 2025 6 pm – 7 pm CHF 40 per person (incl. materials) or CHF 70 per person for both workshops (incl. materials) Reserve now with the keyword ‘Upcycling Workshop’ and mention the number of people.
WORKSHOP II: CREATE STICKERS
Friday, 31 January 2025, 7 – 8 pm
You will learn how to make your own stickers step by step. You will glue, draw and cut them out. After an introduction to the different types of stickers and the necessary background information, you will get started: depending on the theme and speed, you will design 3 to 8 stickers. After our workshop, you will be able to make your own stickers at home; the materials are available everywhere.
You don’t need to bring anything, unless you have washi tape at home that you would like to use for your stickers.

The Swiss visual artist, Petra Faye (mural painting and art) and the Swiss-Finnish artist, Taina Thoma (art, mural painting and illustrations) have been exhibiting their art at Matt & Elly since November 1, 2024. They are leading the two workshops as part of their final exhibition.
The exhibition is open until Friday, January 31, 2025 during our regular opening hours. Her paintings can be purchased directly on site.
