A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE AWAITS YOU

Imagine sitting in a casual taproom on East Burnside Street in Portland with a fruity, tart West Coast IPA in your hand. Then imagine you're dining in a typical Nordic-style restaurant in the Meat District in Copenhagen. You eat an al dente cooked pasta puttanesca; it is beautifully harmonious; colorful, salty, sour, fruity, a little lush and playful. For dessert, there is crème brulée with preserved blueberries. ‚Home is whenever I'm with you‘ can be heard subtly in the background. Your bag lies next to you on the soft bench. - That's you, in the Matt & Elly dining room! On one of the 100 seats in our Brewery & Kitchen and during the summer in the urban garden, you are our star. In typical Swiss style, we won't ask you for your autograph, but will welcome you with charm like everyone else.

Von Dienstag bis Samstag ab 18:30 Uhr erwartet dich Matt’s sorgfältig komponiertes Menü in vier oder fünf Gängen, wahlweise vegetarisch oder mit einem Fleisch und einem Fisch Gang. Alternativ kannst du einzelne Kreationen aus beiden Menülinien frei kombinieren. Für die perfekte Begleitung empfehlen wir unsere abgestimmten Pairings: Eine hauseigene Bierbegleitung, die kuratierte Weinreise unseres Sommeliers oder unsere alkoholfreie Proxy-Wein Begleitung.

Bereits ab 16:30 Uhr servieren wir feine Tapas an der Bar. Ideal als genussvoller Auftakt oder als Begleitung zu einem Aperitif vor dem Dinner.

Mau Pavon offers you and your group a team event where everyone discovers their creative side! with or without beer (tasting). All offers can be booked individually or in combination.

Wonderful bar to try interesting beers from the brewery's own house brewery. The selection ranges from sour beer to high-proof and extremely tasty bock beer. It is also constantly refreshed with new creations from the master brewers. A place for craft beer lovers and for those destined to enjoy great beers in a friendly atmosphere.

Best Beer in Town (and more)
I can't list all the reasons why you absolutely MUST spend an evening at Matt & Elly, so I'll just list three:
1. the Rock-Away beer (there is nothing better)
2. the crispy duck (was part of the Surpise menu)
3. the cool urban atmosphere (in a not-so-well-known corner of Basel)
