ART EXHIBITION TWO VIEWS

The passionate photographer couple invites us to their fascinating photo exhibition. “two views” refers to Sabine and Gregor traveling together with their cameras. They are in the same places, but come back with very different photographs. Nevertheless, there are correlations, such as shapes, colors or contrasts, resulting in pairs of images – “two views”. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to get to know the two of them and their impressive work!

Gregor begann vor drei Jahren mit der Fotografie, als er in die Region Basel zog. Für ihn ist Streetphotography eine Kreuzung aus mehreren anderen fotografischen Disziplinen wie Dokumentar-, Portrait-, Architektur- und abstrakter Fotografie.
Sabine’s photography is unique because she uses long exposure times and moves the camera to create blurred images. This is a contrast to the precise, focused images she needs in her work.
The couple are united not only by their passion for photography, but also by their shared enthusiasm for biology, which they both studied. They had their first joint photo exhibition in 2024, in which they presented their different photographic styles, which met with a great response.
